Money Doesn't Have to Feel Complicated
Most people feel overwhelmed when they think about budgets, investments, or planning for retirement. We built this program because finance should make sense, not stress you out. Starting September 2025, you'll learn practical skills that actually work in real life.
What Makes This Different
You won't find any get-rich-quick schemes here. Just honest guidance that respects where you're starting from and where you want to go.
Real Budgets
Work with your actual numbers. We help you build a budget based on your life, not some theoretical spreadsheet that ignores reality.
Clear Goals
Whether you're saving for a house deposit or trying to pay down credit cards, we map out specific steps that fit your timeline.
No Jargon
Financial terms get explained in plain English. You'll understand the reasoning behind every decision you make.
Build Confidence, Not Just Knowledge
You already know you should save money and invest wisely. That's not the hard part. The challenge is figuring out how to actually do it when rent's due, the car needs repairs, and life keeps happening.
Our program runs for twelve weeks starting in autumn 2025. Each session focuses on practical application rather than theory. You'll work through your own financial situation with guidance from instructors who've helped hundreds of people get unstuck.
- Create a budget that adapts when circumstances change
- Understand investment basics without feeling lost
- Plan for retirement in realistic, achievable steps
- Learn when debt makes sense and when it doesn't
Learn From Someone Who Gets It
Financial education works best when it comes from people who understand both the numbers and the emotions behind money decisions.
Siobhan Kearney
After spending years as a financial counselor, Siobhan noticed the same pattern. People didn't need more information about finance. They needed someone to help them make sense of what they already knew and turn it into action. She's been teaching practical money management since 2018, working with everyone from recent graduates to people nearing retirement. Her approach focuses on progress over perfection, which actually gets results.
What Actually Happens in the Program
You meet once a week for three hours. Each session combines short explanations with hands-on work using your own financial data. You're not watching someone else's example. You're building your own plan.
Between sessions, you test what you learned. Maybe that's tracking spending for a week or researching superannuation options. Then you come back, discuss what worked and what didn't, and adjust accordingly.
